Wacky Wednesday!

In honor of Molly's Gotcha Day yesterday, this is a Wacky Wednesday bonanza of some pretty wacky stuff we caught Molly doing in China the first few days after she joined our Forever Family.

As Emily mentioned in yesterday's Comments section, about an hour after Gotcha, Molly...
...pulled her pants down in front of our entire travel group and urinated on the sidewalk. I promise you, her toileting habits are much more private and sophisticated these days! (Sometimes she even shuts the door...)

Molly arrived with some very definite ideas about fashion. In fact, she insisted on...
...wearing her headbands on her forehead, in front of her hair (where they didn't help at all)...
...and preferred to wear her sunglasses upside down. Thankfully, her big sister's influence has helped to mold this diva into a true fashionista (with actual style)!

All of our kids figured out early on that Daddy serves many functions. He's the killer of bugs, carrier of tired kids, cooker of meals...
...and also a human amusement park. Most of the time in our house, kids are either climbing on Daddy or begging him to hang them upside down. That picture was taken literally hours after Gotcha.

Maybe it was the three-sizes-too-big dress she was wearing on arrival on Gotcha Day, but Molly seemed to be confused about properly sized attire throughout our time in China. She would either choose the way-too-big sizes... ...like when she stole Daddy's swim cap...or the way-too-small sizes...
...like when she tried to wear WaWa's jacket while we waited for an airplane in the Zhengzhou airport.

Little did we know, these were just tiny glimpses into the bigger-than-life personality packed into this pint-sized firecracker. Her sassy attitude and perfect comedic timing keep our whole family in stitches most of the time!

Happy Wednesday!!

  2. That is too cute about the peeing on the street. One day she will look back at that and either laugh or cringe. No matter what, Molly is cute as a button!

  3. Love the peeing on the street. Poor girl probably had NO clue WHY you were laughing and WHY you were taking a picture ;)
