An Exhausting Day of Fun...

Aunt Debbie called a few weeks ago, inviting the Littles to come with her and her kids to the local Children's Museum Center. (I was invited along to drive them...not like they can ride their bikes the 45 minutes to Aunt Debbie's house!)

We started off our fun day...
...with an indoor picnic lunch! PB&J, anyone?
Looks like Eli wore his crabby pants to the Museum Center. After lunch, we headed to Carson's favorite part of the Children's Museum...
...the water room!
Apparently, Molly loves it as well. Not sure what Carson is up to in this pic...
...but that look always makes me think he's up to SOMETHING! This is the best pic I was able to get of Molly with cousin Sophia...
...and it wasn't even a great shot of Sophia!
Eli decided it was nap time. What an angel! (Guess he changed out of those crabby pants...) I love how the normal things the kids do all the time...
...like push a grocery cart...become fun when they happen in smaller scale. I could barely get the Littles out of the miniature supermarket! "Hey, Carson..."
"...this call's for you."
He didn't chat long. Molly got bored anyway and headed to the play house area...
...to snuggle a baby...
...and iron some dress-up outfits. There was lots more playing to be had...the construction zone, the restaurant, the Lego area, the climbing forest. Four hours later we headed home...
...and it took literal minutes for them to all fall asleep once the minivan got on the highway, heading to home.
Fun days sure can be exhausting!!
