Wacky Wednesday, Part Two...

Molly had her first official soccer practice tonight. We've had so much rain lately (mostly on Mondays and Wednesdays, of course) that practices have been canceled and this was the first time they could actually get on the fields.

Since Carson is heading into his fourth season of soccer, he wanted to show Molly how she should stand at practice, to be ready for the ball...
...oooo, impressive! Molly, however, had different ideas...
...and felt that posing and dancing were called for on the soccer field. Uggghhh. Wait, did you see those shoes??
We should have named that girl Pinky! Yes, she has pink shin guards, pink socks, pink shoelaces, AND a pink soccer ball. Geez!! The Littles posed together once...
...and we were off to separate practice fields. Sadly, since Molly's surgery is Monday, this first practice will be her last for at least a month. Yep, she's gonna miss almost the entire season. We didn't start on a good note at practice...
...since Molly sat down on her soccer ball while the other kids ran around, warming up. When I yelled out for her to listen to Coach Matt, she responded, "I AMMMMMM!!!!"...
...then proceeded to get her cleat stuck in the goal net. Uggghhh. When Coach Matt tried to organize the kids for dribbling drills...
...Molly took it upon herself to cheer 'em on. Uh, Molly, you ARE a member of this team.
OK, that's better. When it was time to take a water break...
...Molly handled that like a pro! OK, back to drills...
...well, except for Molly, who decided that her hair needed some attention first. Uggghhh. Luckily, I had my camera at the ready...
...when Molly finally got to score a goal! For the majority of the scrimmage time, Molly was a bit of a loner, ignoring the action. However, I did catch her getting into it...
...and she actually showed a bit of promise. Maybe she's catching on...
....nope. She spent the last ten minutes rolling around in the grass.

Uggghhh.
