I Tried to Warn Her...

Carson's Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. K, was so wonderful with him. When Carson challenged all of us with his complete reluctance to learn the alphabet, she offered us many activities and ideas to get him motivated. She was strict enough to earn his respect, but caring enough to earn his love. And he LOVED Mrs. K!
At Carson's last IEP meeting in Kindergarten, I warned Mrs. K that Molly was coming to Kindergarten next year...and that she is much more challenging than Carson in so many ways. I actually recommended to Mrs. K that she request NOT to get her. She laughed me off and insisted Molly was so adorable, she would love to have her.

Well, the teacher letters arrived on Monday...Molly got Mrs. K!

I tried to warn you, Mrs. K. We'll see just how much you enjoy our adorable Molly when she comes into your classroom -- and your heart -- and shows her true demanding diva-ness. Oh, it's gonna be an interesting year!

  1. I somehow imagine that PARENTS are always more "challenging" that the actual students - so Mrs. K probably figures she worked so hard last year year taming YOU - that this year will be a breeze ;)
