A "Creeper" Update...

Sorry to say, our "creeper" problem has NOT gone away.

As some of our guests were leaving Carson's birthday party on Saturday afternoon, our neighbor, Dan, approached Daddy. Apparently, Dan spotted the creeper during our party and recognized the license plate from the information spread by our other neighbor, Karen. (I knew she would get the word out!)

While we were enjoying a wonderful gathering of friends in our backyard, the creeper was delivering what appeared to be newspapers to random houses in the neighborhood. Dan got one, but we did not. Upon examining what it was that was being delivered, it turned out to be (literally) garbage -- our friendly neighborhood creeper had taken apart the inserts from a Sunday paper, put rubber bands around them, and threw them in random yards.

While it appeared the creeper had a real reason for being in our neighborhood, he made Dan suspicious. So Dan pulled out his camera and shot a few pictures...of the creeper's face, of his car, and of his license plate.

After discussing it, we all decided to call the police again. The officer arrived and saw the pictures but said that, unfortunately, until this guy does something illegal -- like break into a house or grab a kid -- they can't arrest him. Oh, GREAT! So we wait like sitting ducks for this guy to commit a crime?!

The officer did tell us that we should confront this guy the next time we see him, which would hopefully scare him out of our neighborhood. Yeah, but then we'll scare him into another neighborhood -- and they will be unaware of his creepiness or the need to watch out for him.

Is it illegal to post pictures of this guy all over town, with a warning about his creepiness? Think I'll contact the police and find out...
