My Children as Art...

Remember this...
...very cool art piece Uncle Brandon made for Carson's birthday? Well, he was sweet enough to make an equally cool art piece for Molly. But what photo would we choose?

Uncle Brandon had the great idea (or was it my idea that Uncle Brandon ran with?) to morph our Molly into her favorite Princess character. Since Molly is going to be the Little Mermaid for Halloween, I took her (with the costume) to visit Uncle Brandon and Aunt Debbie. When Uncle Brandon told Molly he wanted to take pictures of her in her costume, it never even caused her to question. Why wouldn't he want pictures of an adorable mermaid on his own camera?? He took many pictures but settled on this one...
...and turned it into this...
...Mermaid Molly, complete with flowing black hair and a fin! Isn't that so cool?! To top it off, before coloring it in, Uncle Brandon had the great idea to create...
...coloring pages for Molly to give to her cousins and friends at the birthday party. As much as she loves to color, I thought she would love that idea. To be honest, I think it wigged her out to see her own face on a coloring page. Funny!

So, thanks again, Uncle Brandon. Your artistic talents have created wonderful keepsakes for the kids that amaze me every time I look at them!
And Molly loves her Mermaid Molly, by the way. She just can't figure out how she got a fin...
