Last night, we attended Meggie's high school Baccalaureate service. Having graduated from a Catholic high school, our Baccalaureate was a typical Catholic Mass. I wasn't sure what to expect from a public school Baccalaureate but I had a feeling the Littles would be bored. Before we sat down, they were very clear on the rules: we will be in "big Church" and you WILL be quiet.
After the musical prelude (where a graduate played three selections on the piano), there was an awkward period of silence. Apparently, the first speaker was running a few minutes behind...so the stage was empty and nothing was happening.
Molly was sitting between Meggie and Evan's mom. She looked up at Meggie and wanted to know: "ARE WE PRAYING NOW??"
Oh my goodness, that is so cute!
