This story is not mine; it is borrowed from my sister, Debbie, with her permission. Just when you think you've heard it all...
Debbie had a birthday last Monday. Since she was off work on Monday and Tuesday, she headed to the bakery to bring sweets in Wednesday morning for her co-workers (as is their office routine). Before she left for work, her two-year-old daughter, Sophia, told her she looked beautiful. What a GREAT way to start a day, huh?
Debbie arrived at the Super Wal-Mart and noticed a woman staring at her in the parking lot. Debbie gave the woman a quick look, wondering if she knew the woman, then proceeded into the store. As Debbie stood in the entry to the store, getting her bearings, said woman ran into the store from the parking lot and right up to Debbie.
Here is where you and I think, "Maybe Debbie's skirt was tucked in her underwear..."
The woman thrust a business card at Debbie and said, "Honey, call me." As Debbie read the business card, she was crushed.
The woman is a weight loss counselor.
Can you BELIEVE that?!?! While Debbie would be the first to admit she needs to lose a few pounds (who doesn't?!) especially since she just had a baby six months ago, she is far from obese. Does this woman really get clients this way?
Unbelievable!

Oh good grief, the nerve of that person.
ReplyDelete(I totally thought her undies were hanging out).
NOOOOOO WAY!!!!! Wonder if she actually does get clients by doing that??? She's lucky she doesn't get a black eye!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! That is just incredible. I have to admit, I too was thinking the undies thing:)
ReplyDeleteOH! MY! GOSH! No she didn't! Your sister should call her, alright! I won't say on here exactly WHAT she should call her! :) What a rotten thing to do...your sister should have grabbed some produce and tossed it at her!
ReplyDeleteA few weeks ago my daughter, mom and I were in the mall shopping for prom accessories when we passed one of those kiosks where they sell Dead Sea Salt or something. The woman from the kiosk ran me down...literally stopped me in my tracks...to ask me "Why you let nails be ragged and ugly?"
Whaaaatt?? How could she even see my nails when my hands were balled into fists carrying a million packages? And why would she think being mean to me would make stop to let her rub her salty lotion into my hands?? LOL
