The Littles Have an Adventure...

When my sister asked if she could steal the kids on Memorial Day and take 'em to an amusement park, I didn't have to think twice. YES!! What mother in her right mind would turn down a day of free babysitting, no strings attached?!

Carson and Molly have never been to this amusement park, but have seen TV commercials about it and were super stoked for a day of fun-in-the-sun with Aunt Nikki.
Hey, kids, what are you gonna do when you ride the roller coaster?
Hands in the air and scream like a lunatic. Absolutely! Looks like they're ready.

Unfortunately for Carson and Molly, Aunt Nikki also invited a couple of their teenaged cousins...who spent so much time straightening their hair that they made Aunt Nikki and Uncle Brandon late to pick up my Littles.
Why were they so angry? Because they were looking out the dining room window and seeing this...
...when they wanted to see this.
YES! Their ride had finally arrived! One quick picture with Aunt Nikki...
...and off they went!

Meggie -- aka The Best Teenager in the World -- stayed behind to help me spring clean the second floor of our house. Four bedrooms, the laundry room, and two bathrooms got scrubbed from ceiling fans to baseboards. By the end, we were exhausted. I could barely feed myself at dinner my arms were so sore. No pictures were taken, though...we were sweaty and stinky and gross.

Carson and Molly arrived home in time for dinner...exhausted and slap happy. Made for an amusing meal, for sure!

So thanks, Aunt Nikki...for giving me a break and giving the Littles a wonderful day of fun. But no one deserves thanks more than Meggie. After all, she IS The Best Teenager in the World!
