The Tooth Fairy Returns...

Since losing that one front tooth last week, this...
...has been Carson's preferred facial expression. Ugghhh! Yesterday morning, as we lazed through a soccer-free Saturday (gotta love rain-outs!), we decided to watch a movie on DVD. Before the movie started, there was a commercial for "Nanny McPhee Returns." I laughed that Carson looks like her now...
...and you have to admit that, dentally speaking, there is a resemblance. He was NOT pleased and told Daddy he wanted that other front tooth OUT! So, after we watched "Despicable Me," the boys headed upstairs. A few minutes in the bathroom with some twisting and tugging...
...and not only did the Tooth Fairy get another customer...
...but Carson went straight from Snaggle Tooth to completely and utterly adorable! After inspecting the new space in the front of his mouth...
...and smiling for his very proud Mommy...
...there was only one thing left to do...
...make sure his whistle still works. Check! Works just fine!

Molly has a loose lower front tooth and decided, if Carson could brave a Daddy tooth extraction, then she could as well. So she took her spot on the bathroom counter...
...and after a few tugs and twists...
...decided that tooth could stay right where it was, thankyouverymuch.

That's OK, little one...your time will come. Luckily, the Tooth Fairy doesn't mind making repeated visits to the same house in the same week.
