Consider.
Last Friday was our wedding anniversary. Since we had plans to go out to dinner Saturday night, we stayed home Friday evening and hung out in the backyard, deciding to light up the fire pit. The Littles LOVE having a fire, but Meggie usually passes when we choose to do this.
Evan happened to be at our house and, this time, Meggie didn't pass. She and Evan joined us in the backyard. Well, Carson and Molly certainly aren't going to let Evan just sit there, bored. So, they invited him to join them in a rousing game of hide-and-seek.
Not sure if Evan's a great big kid or a wonderful actor, but he not only played hide-and-seek with the Littles until it got too dark, he seemed to ENJOY playing hide-and-seek with the Littles until it got too dark! He even taught 'em a few new hiding places in our backyard...
They played for over an hour, I'd bet, and Evan never seemed bored. Then, when it got too dark to play, we sat around the fire roasting marshmallows and making S'mores.
Not only does Evan adore the Megster, but he also seems to like the Littles a whole lot and happily tolerates their shenanigans.
I don't know about you, but a kid who's that sweet to ALL of my kids ranks right up there as the best boyfriend ever.
Come back tomorrow for part two...

How sweet! We've had one of those guys around for almost 4 years now. Wondering if it will continue or come to an end.....time shall tell us.
