Preach It, Little Sister!

Last night, we attended the graduation party for Meggie's friends Lauren, Kyle and Trevor. We have been friends with these kids and their parents for...well, it seems like forever.

Missy (Lauren and Kyle's Mom) was telling me that she had a dilemma for Sunday morning. At Church, they were celebrating Missy and Tim's 25th wedding anniversary. But, at the same time, Kyle would be playing in a baseball championship game. Missy was clearly torn over which to choose.

"WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT?" Molly wanted to know.

As everyone in the near vicinity started cracking up with laughter, Molly continued. "SCHOOL. CHURCH. WORK. THOSE ARE IMPORTANT! BASEBALL IS NOT IMPORTANT!"

When Missy (who could barely contain her laughter) asked Molly why Church was important, Molly responded, "BECAUSE JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS FOR SINS. CHURCH IS IMPORTANT! YOU DON'T SKIP CHURCH!"

Wondering which event won out for Missy and Tim this morning...and how Molly is going to react when she realizes I let her and Carson sleep in (we didn't get home until almost midnight) and that WE are skipping Church today...
