Meet the Newest Member of our Family!

Before anyone panics (Mom!), no we did not get a referral for another child. Sure, I would love to adopt again, but now is just not the time -- emotionally or financially. However, that doesn't mean we can't do something to help the orphans back in China right now.

While we aren't adopting her, we consider this beautiful little lady to be the newest member of our family. Meet Violet...
...the child we are sponsoring through An Orphan's Wish. Isn't she just a doll?! For the small amount of $35 a month (the price of one dinner out for our family of five), we will help to get this adorable little princess...
...the specialized medical care she needs in the Special Care Unit of the House of Love in China. In return, for our small donation, we get...
...monthly updates (including pictures) on her progress. In fact, the picture above is the most recent and was just sent to me yesterday! Isn't she a beauty??
